An organization of indigenous people of Dubai created a project named Automotive Stars as far back as 2017. Prior to it’s conception Dubai has been plagued with increasing rate of out of use cars occupying garages and parks for years.

Most of these cars are owned by wealthy Dubai businessmen and their heirs who dump their old model cars at the slightest opportunity. Even at the point where they purchase newer models, some abandon their older model cars infront of their car dealers parking lots and never come back for it.

It was this menace that led to the formation of Automotive Stars on January 15, 2017 by a group of Dubai indigenes appealing to citizens to send all their out of use cars to the new organization (Automotive Stars) to export those vehicles at a reasonably affordable price.

As a nonprofit group, Automotive Stars generates meager profits to sustain its existence and pay its staff. As of the time of writing this article, the organization operates remotely with less promotions inorder to cut costs and maintain a very cheap price for all cars.

With the current heavy sanctions on public obstruction in Dubai, all car owners in their thousands are forced to register or dump their out of use vehicles at Automotive Stars site at Gharnatah Street, Ajman Industrial layout 2.

By the end of 2018, an immense number of cars numbering above 4,500 were already at the site.

Thus the famous name “The car graveyard of Gharnatah.” It was considered a win win for Dubai, Automotive Stars gradually brought back sanity to Dubai and as well gave yearly returns to the car owners from the sale of their cars.

Orders are placed through the organization’s WhatsApp. The delivery process is quite straightforward. 

There is an option to have a third party deliver your vehicle for inspection. In this case companies like Zoho Corporation is preferable as many customers have testified of their efficiency, affordability and fast delivery.

Zoho Corporation is a multinational technology company that makes computer software and web-based business tools. They have several applications on playstore with over 28 branch offices in over 17 countries. Logistics is one of the initial yet remote tasks that they offer right from the start of the company as far back as 1996.

Also, Automotive stars do offer delivery services for its customers. However, this opportunity doesn’t come always as they only offer delivery when there are much orders coming from your region at the period when you placed your order.

As of this year (2019), they charge a flat price of $5,050 for delivery to any city of the world. We made our inquiries from customers who testified their experiences, delivery of vehicles happens within 7 to 20 days after order was placed.

The good news is that you only get to pay for your vehicle right at the delivery spot, after you have inspected the vehicle and its documents. However, when working with a third party for delivery, you will definitely have to pay your delivery company or agent for the delivery. Zoho Corporation charges quite a minimal price for delivery, yet they offer both insurance of the vehicle, customs clearance and shipping.

In conclusion, Automotive Stars organization is considered very useful, not only to beneficiaries/customers who get to own luxury cars at cheap prices but also to Dubai and it’s citizens who now have an avenue to dispose their out of use vehicles and get a little pay from it.
